Micro-Practices
Expands on Chapter 15 in the book
Major change often starts with small actions. Structured programs provide a framework for improvement, but everyday moments determine whether those efforts take hold or fade. Micro-Practices act as cultural nudges: simple, repeatable actions that build momentum, strengthen connection, and remind people why their work matters.
The book contains five anchor practices, one for each of the five ACE Manifesto values, showing what its corresponding value looks like as a daily team habit:
Peer Shout-Outs (Trust and Connection) | Stop, Start, Continue (Diagnose and Solve Issues) | User Manual of Me (Adapt and Transform Locally) | Mini-Demos (Fast and Lasting Change) | Rotating Facilitation (Shared Ownership)
The 21 below (6 Public and 15 via Free website registration) supplement those in the book, with the combined 26 covering the full range of the ACE Values and eight Focus Areas found in the book.
